Exterior Department Store Painting
Department Store Painting is just one of the many services we provide to the Retail Market. On this project we removed a banner that went around the entire top sign band of the building. Retail Store Painting has several employees that not only have a great amount of experience in commercial painting but also have a background in carpentry, masonry repairs, and remodeling. So in most cases, when you hire Retail Store Painting you can cut out the stress and costs associated with hiring several different contractors to complete your project.

Pressure Washing
The entire exterior of this building was pressure washed to remove any dirt, dust, loose paint and oxidation left behind from the sunlight and elements. Pressure Washing is an important part of a commercial painting project because no matter how good the paint job is if the paint does not properly adhere to the substate you will have a failing paint project every time.

Proper Prep work and Priming
This painting project had several different substrates the walls were block, the signboards were metal, the window frames were aluminum, there was steel steps and railings, and there was some wood that needed to be painted. Before we started painting we scraped anything loose, we solvent wiped the window frames, and spot primed any bare areas with the proper primer for each particular substrate. Performing the proper prep work, priming bare areas, and treating rust will not only protect your warranty, it will also add years of crisp clean looking paint and a problem free project.

Now that we finished our pressure washing, proper prep work, and priming, its time to apply the paint. Retail Store Painting is partners with all the major paint suppliers in the U.S. and we have technical reps on hand that know the products inside and out. We use the highest quality materials for each individual situation. On this commercial paint project we used DTM paint on all the metal surfaces and elastomeric waterproof coating on all the masonry surfaces. Elastomeric is a breathable waterproof coating that lets moisture escape while keeping water out of the masonry.

Textured Painting applications

If you are looking forward to updating the walls of your home, using textured paint makes it easy to achieve the desired results. It is inexpensive and will give your walls a new look. In modern houses, textured painting is used instead of wallpapers. It is the easiest way to cover imperfect and uneven walls. This is why it has become the most popular trend in home décor. There are many beautiful styles that have been invented as house owners attempt to do the project by themselves.
Textured painting comes with a few options. We have the premised form which contains gravel particles that looks grainy. This paint can be applied on ceilings because it is not easy for the ceilings to be closely scrutinized.
There is the variety that comes in a bucket. This paint is thick and smooth. It requires special application tools such as knives and trowels. Once the paint has been applied, it gives the walls a tucco appearance. Available in stores is an agent that can be applied to control the roughness and smoothness.
If you want to achieve the best textured look, it is recommended that you purchase high quality paint. You are free to choose between durable synthetic resin and flat finish latex. The latex paints are ideal on ceilings since they do not require a primer. They are durable and will easily cover the seams and make the wall dry.
If you want to obtain a high quality textured finish, you can use metallic finishes that are silver, copper and gold in colors. This is one of the options that will create a glossy and a shiny presence.
You can also use textured paint to create a faux finish. The most common ones include the marble, wood or stone. These materials easily add the required depth and texture. The technique may require that you use additional sponges, trowels and special rollers.
If you don’t know the paints that can give you the best textured results, visiting paint stores could be ideal.
